Betty Anne's Wedding!

So this was my first official wedding as Birdsong Flowers! Betty Anne and Scott got married at Cafe Luna and asked me to incorporate lots of whites, yellows and blues into the floral arrangements, with an emphasis on Gerber Daisies for the bride. I will have more pictures of the boutennieres and corsages when I get them later. For some reason I forgot to take pics of that! So for now, the flowers! ***click for larger pics***

It's almost that time!

I am doing the flowers for a wedding this weekend and I can't wait to post pictures of that soon! But in the meantime, I realized that I never added the pictures from the craft show I did last Christmas. Maybe that's because I was too sick to actually go and my darling husband had to hawk my wares for me!

Welcome!

This is the first blog entry at birdsong flowers!

I am very excited about what this year will bring. So far, I've been learning all about the flower industry and am building a portfolio! I have done flowers for a couple private events and sold a few items over Christmas. I have a wedding booked for the summer and I can't wait to dig in. After doing the flowers at my own wedding, I think it will be much more enjoyable to help someone else on their big day! So here goes!
